What are the CPL class prerequisites?
You may attend our class starting at age 18. While Michigan requires you to be 21 to apply for a license, your training certificate remains valid for five years, allowing you to complete your preparation early.
What materials do I need to bring?
Bring a valid driver's license or state ID, your firearm with 50 rounds of ammunition, eye/ear protection, and a billed cap. If you don't have equipment yet, full rentals are available for your convenience.
How long is my training certificate valid?
Your CPL training certificate is valid for 5 years. This gives you ample time to complete the application process with your county clerk once you meet the age requirements.
What are the next steps after class?
Simply take your certificate to your county clerk, pay the fee, and complete fingerprinting. We'll guide you through these final steps during our class session.
